In 1996, the Charta 77 Foundation created the Josef Vavroušek Prize in commemoration of our leading ecologist and standard bearer of the idea of sustainable development of global format, who tragically died in 1995.Till the end of April, you can nominate candidates for this prize for 2010.

We organized a fifth charity collection with iDNES.cz a MF DNES. This time for handicapped student Laďka. She needed a new wheelchair to be able to move around the city without help of others. Readers of iDNES.cz and MF DNES sent during 3 weeks almost a million crowns. It will help to ten handicapped people.

Since 15th till 31st December you can visit First Christmas Circus at Prague showground in Holešovice.  A part of the gain will be given to BARRIERS Account.

Since 16th of December till Chistmas red noses (symbol of BARRIERS Account) are sold at newspaper kiosks. The price of one nose is 30 Crowns.

On Wednesday 16th of December BARRIERS Account had a TV show in prime time at TV Nova. Thanks to its viewers BARRIERS Account obtaines 16 millions.
