BARRIERS Account
Main project of Foundation Charter 77. It has been operating for sixteen years already - indeed, it is the oldest continuous foundation project in the Czech Republic. Throughout this entire period, the project has been funded by public fundraising, supported by tens of thousands of donors. |

Computers against barriers
In 2012, our project PCs against Barriers (PPB) entered the 16th year of its existence. Its main objective remains unchanged: to reintegrate handicapped people as fast as possible through their education and re-training using information and communication technology. |

Sport without barriers
Sport without Barriers came into existence in response to an ever-growing number of petitions addressed to the Barriers Account by mostly young people who have come to terms with their handicap and would like to draw level with their non-handicapped peers not only in everyday life, but also as far as an active lifestyle including sports is concerned. |

Auction shows "Artists for Barriers account"
Auction shows of artwork are a traditional project of the Barriers Account. They have been held since 1993 and meet with the keen interest of artists and of the general public alike. The ten previous shows raised CZK 38 million. |

Job fair
An activity of our computer project is aimed at improving the employment opportunities of disabled persons in the job market. At the end of 2006, we launched a Job Fair portal (at www.kontobariery.cz/burzaprace), with the obvious aim to offer a forum to companies and individuals where the imaginary curves of offer and demand in the job market may meet. The goal is to improve the opportunities for disabled persons in the job market. |

New start
A New Start is designed to help people who suffered an irreversible change of their medical situation due to an accident or otherwise at some point during the past 12 to 18 months. |

RWE Fund
We much appreciate the fact that RWE Transgas, which had been looking for a time-tested and renowned charity with a focus on working with children, senior citizens, and handicapped citizens, chose to cooperate with the Barriers Account in the last-mentioned area of interest. |

Tipfond
Via the Charta 77 Foundation, Tipsport provides financial aid to organizations and individuals who approach them with requests for help. We christened our joint project TIPFOND. |

Globus Fund
Mutual project of Barriers Account and GLOBUS. For each plastic bag bought at the checkout of any of the 11 megastores of GLOBUS, one crown goes to the Barriers Account. Since January 2005 to Cars without barriers project. |

Iuventus medica
A new program of Foundation Charter 77. Its goal is a financial support of young doctors before their attestation. This program is being realised in cooperation with the Czech Medical Chamber and The Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Industries. |

Norwegian Funds
Project that will be welcome help at twelve Czech hospitals (specifically, their neonatology departments). |

MÍŠA Account
By way of a unique public fundraiser, the project MÍŠA Account raised 100 million crowns for the purchase of a Leksell gamma knife, which was installed at the Na Homolce hospital in October 1992. |

Postcards and New Year ´s Cards of Barriers Account
For fourteen years already, friends of the Barriers Account have the opportunity to support our work by purchasing traditional postcards. The postcards of the BARRIERS Account help to convert schools in the Czech Republic into handicapped-friendly facilities. |

Desk calendars of Barriers Account
BARRIERS Account presents a new collection consisting of desk calendars. Money form their sold it entirety used for purchasing educational aids and material for handicapped pupils and students. |

Prizes
Tom Stoppard and Jaroslav seifert Prize were founded to support of Czechoslovak literature. Franrišek Kriegl Prize is awarded for civic bravery. In 1996 we founded Josef Vavroušek Prize in honour of tragic deceased ecologist. |

Four muses house
Within the framework of this joint project of the Foundation Charter 77, the Foundation “Nadace život umělce” and the Schock Agency, we looked into suitable properties that could serve as a sanctuary in which artists (actors, singers, dancers, musicians) may spend their old age in an active way. |
