Auction Shows ‘Artists for the Barriers Account’

Auction shows of artwork are a traditional project of the Barriers Account. They have been held since 1993 and meet with the keen interest of artists and of the general public alike. In the first year, about 160 artists donated their artwork free of charge; a number of collectors contributed as well. In the past few years, the number of contributing artists is usually in exceedance of 300. The ten previous shows raised CZK 40 million. Over time, our artists’ auction show has become a popular cultural and social event.
