Postcards and Christmas Cards of the Barriers Account

For fifteen years already, friends of the Barriers Account have the opportunity to support our work by purchasing traditional postcards.
 

Picture postcards are for sale at post offices and at the foundation's headquarters, but can also be ordered over the phone or via e-mail. The postcards of the BARRIERS Account help to convert schools in the Czech Republic into handicapped-friendly facilities. During the existence of the project, the BARRIERS Account was able to raise more than sixteen and a half million crowns through the sale of postcards, which allowed for the retrofitting of 158 schools where pupils and students with disabilities are now fully integrated. 

Aside from being an efficient tool for charity fundraising, our postcards have become a coveted collector's item, not least because of the great care we exercise in selecting the commissioned artists. The postcards produced so far were created by important and well-known Czech artists: V. Jiránek, M. Kuriš, Z. Miler, V. Zábranský, A. Born, L. Vojkůvka, N. Kotrčová, J. Anderle, J. Pacák, A. Dětinská, J. Trnka, J. Lada, Iva Hüttnerová, Emma Srncová, Jiří Slíva a K.
