Tipfond

2010 saw the six-year continuation of our cooperation with the TIPSPORT betting agency, which is currently the largest betting agency in the CEE region, founded in May 1991 and today operating over 1000 branches throughout the country. Via the Charta 77 Foundation, Tipsport provides financial aid to organizations and individuals who approach them with requests for help.
We christened our joint project TIPFOND. Since the beginning of the project, this fund was endowed with almost 7 million crowns.
We support primarily projects from the area of sports for the disabled. Among the organizations that we support are a number of sports clubs and associations of handicapped athletes, as well as various public action groups, associations, healthcare facilities, and church charities that organize e.g. therapeutic, rehabilitative, and restorative stays, tournaments and gaming events on the national level, or cultural events. Donations were also spent on interpreting services for the hearing-impaired, on the furnishing of community centers, sanctuaries, and half-way houses, on the operation of protected workshops, on sophisticated medical aids and appliances, etc.
